Life Skills
Life Skills education in our school is designed to equip students with essential competencies required for responsible, confident, and independent living. The program focuses on developing critical thinking, effective communication, emotional intelligence, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Through structured activities, interactive sessions, and real-life applications, students learn to manage emotions, build healthy relationships, handle challenges, and adapt to changing situations. Life Skills education empowers students to become self-aware, resilient, and socially responsible individuals who are well-prepared to face academic, personal, and professional challenges.
Yoga
Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya integrates Yoga into its daily curriculum and extracurricular activities to foster physical fitness, mental focus, and emotional resilience among students. Through regular sessions and competitive participation, the school enhances students’ discipline, flexibility, and holistic well-being, preparing them for academic and life challenges.

Kutty Cops
Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School actively integrates the Uyir Kutty Cops initiative into its curriculum to instill road safety, discipline, and leadership in students. Through structured activities, the program transforms young learners into responsible community ambassadors, fostering teamwork and real-world awareness.
The Uyir Kutty Cops initiatives with hands-on, engaging activities:
- Students create and inaugurate a Stop Sign Board on campus, promoted by the Principal and staff to build teamwork and road safety consciousness.
- Educational displays, road safety quizzes, and poster-making competitions in classrooms and corridors enhance knowledge, creativity, and leadership.
- Field visit to Coimbatore’s Traffic Park, Armed Reserve Police Control Room, District Crime Records Bureau, and Dog Squad for immersive exposure to policing and safety.
NCC
Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya Matric. Hr. Sec. School NCC wing builds strong cadets through dedicated training and camps, led by Associate NCC Officer focussing on discipline and national service. Cadets shine in competitions and earn top awards.

- 10-day camp at Narayana Guru Arts and Science College – earned medals and certificates.
- Army Wing Leadership Camp at Hindustan Engineering College, Mallampatti (Jan 2-12, 2025) – boys and girls completed with success.
- Combined Annual Training Camp at Nava Bharat International School, Annur (May 26-Jun 24, 2025) – 15 cadets, 8 girls trained hard.

- Awards in Unit 2 Tamil Nadu BTY NCC for cultural events and drill.
- Selected for Junior Divisions by Army Officer Lt. Sakthi after fitness tests.

- Cadets led cleanliness and anti-tobacco drives.
Outreach Programs
