Our clubs nurture well-rounded development by promoting compassion through animal care initiatives, fostering empathy and social responsibility through community outreach, encouraging environmental stewardship and sustainable habits, and cultivating creativity and cultural appreciation through diverse artistic activities
The Paws and Claws Club is an initiative aimed at nurturing compassion, empathy, and responsibility toward animals. The club creates awareness among students about animal welfare and encourages humane treatment of all living beings.
Through active involvement, students participate in rescuing and sheltering animals in need. The club successfully rescued and provided shelter for seven dogs and also extended care to injured and stranded birds. Students are involved in the daily care and maintenance of cows and goats within the school premises, learning the importance of kindness, responsibility, and coexistence with animals.
The club also organized a training camp for cats and dogs, where students gained practical knowledge about animal care, hygiene, and basic training techniques. These activities help students develop sensitivity, patience, and a sense of service while promoting animal welfare and environmental responsibility.
The Care and Share Club focuses on social responsibility and community service by encouraging students to support and uplift the less privileged. The club instills values of empathy, generosity, and civic awareness through meaningful outreach activities.
As part of its humanitarian efforts, the club organized a flood relief program, during which essential materials worth over ₹2,30,000 were collected and distributed to flood-affected families in Chennai. Through the “Reach to Unreach” initiative, the club distributed umbrellas to needy individuals, helping them cope with seasonal hardships.
The club also supports education by providing scholarships to deserving alumni, reinforcing the importance of lifelong learning and giving back to the community. Through these initiatives, students learn the value of sharing, compassion, and responsible citizenship.
The Eco Club of the school is a student-driven initiative aimed at creating environmental awareness and promoting sustainable practices. The club encourages students to actively participate in conservation efforts, develop a sense of responsibility toward nature, and understand the importance of protecting natural resources. Through hands-on activities, community engagement, and environmental campaigns, the Eco Club nurtures environmentally conscious citizens who contribute positively to ecological balance and sustainable development.
The Art Club provides students with a creative platform to explore and express their artistic talents through a wide range of visual art forms. Students engage in diverse activities such as texture painting, abstract art, and creative design, allowing them to experiment with colors, forms, and techniques.
The club also introduces students to traditional Indian art styles, including Warli, Tanjore, Kalamkari, Miniature, Madhubani, and Pattachitra. Through hands-on practice, students gain an appreciation for India’s rich cultural and artistic heritage while learning the unique techniques and symbolism associated with each art form.
By encouraging experimentation with different mediums and styles, the Art Club nurtures creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills. It helps students develop confidence in self-expression and fosters an understanding of art as a meaningful blend of tradition and innovation.
